Classic Harbor Line

If you are looking for some local fun in New York City then a sunset cruise is a MUST........check out Classic Harbor Line . Watching the sky change colors along a boat with NYC skyscrapers in the background all while listening to jazz music and enjoying a nice glass of Rosé… name a more perfect night out!

Classic Harbor Line recently invited me on their Live Jazz City Lights Sunset Cruise aboard their America 2.0 ship, a stunning 105 foot schooner with 3600 square feet of sail area. Karen and I (my blogger bestie from www.wanderouskaren.com) headed over to Chelsea Piers and boarded the ship on Pier 62.

Prior to boarding we checked in and showed them our digital ticket - please make sure to wear a mask otherwise you will not be able to board the ship. Once you are checked in you are assigned a letter - boarding is done by section and your assigned letter will be your designated sitting area to allow for proper social distancing. While on board you are required to wear a mask unless you are enjoying a nice glass of wine…..or for a quick photo snap. Please make sure to adhere to social distance & wearing your mask on board for your safety and that of hours.

The cruise itself lasted about two hours, we witnessed the changing colors of the sky along the NYC & Jersey skyscrapers and we also got a close up with Lady Liberty. All while enjoying the beautiful sounds of Mike and The Boat Band.

Click Here for directions on how to get to Pier 62. Please note that boarding times begin promptly so allow yourself extra time to get there. Pier 62 has a nice park area if you want to have a nice picnic prior to boarding the ship. When we went no restaurants or dining options were open at the Pier so make sure to eat something or pack a light snack to eat before boarding. You can also bring water on board & don't forget your hand sanitizer!
